Flexjet Selected As The Official Private Aviation Supplier To Formula 1
When luxury private aviation meets motor racing. In a landmark new multi-year partnership, Flexjet has become the Official Private Aviation Supplier to Formula 1, providing private travel for the Formula 1 community, including drivers, while also delivering exclusive owner experiences at races around the world.
Bringing together two global brand leaders in a mutual pursuit of performance, precision and extraordinary experiences, and launching ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the partnership will see Flexjet provide fleet access for VIPs, executives and teams, with flights operated using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
Continuing across the global F1 calendar, Flexjet Chairman Kenn Ricci comments: “This is a natural alignment of two worlds in which both luxury aircraft and fast cars require absolute precision and flawless coordination to achieve success. As we look to the future alongside our partners at LVMH, cementing our longstanding ties with the world of motor racing allows us to deliver unparalleled, ultra-luxury experiences, both on the ground and in the air.”
Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali added: “As a global championship, we are constantly on the move, engaging with our fans, partners, promoters, and stakeholders all around the world, 365 days a year.
“Having partners that support us on our mission to deliver the best sport, and an unforgettable show is vital to our ongoing success, so I am delighted to welcome Flexjet as a new Official Supplier.”
To mark the announcement and bring the partnership to life, we hosted a select group of luxury, lifestyle and business media at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, for a day of fast-paced practice and qualifying sessions on Friday 3rd July 2026, combining private aviation, world-class hospitality and behind-the-scenes access at Silverstone.
The experience began at the London Heliport in Battersea, where guests boarded the twin-engine Flexjet Sikorsky S-76 helicopter for their journey to the circuit. The return helicopter transfers offered a seamless way to travel to one of the busiest events in the British sporting calendar, while giving guests a first-hand introduction to Flexjet’s approach to personalised private aviation.
Joining us for the day were Sacha Forbes of Tatler, freelance travel and lifestyle journalist Nicole Trilivas, Nick Scott of Robb Report and Chris Carter of MoneyWeek.
On arrival at Silverstone, guests were welcomed into House 44, the new Lewis Hamilton-backed hospitality suite, where they watched the Sprint Qualifying action unfold in an elevated and exclusive setting.
The day also included paddock walks, giving guests rare access to the restricted area at the heart of Formula 1. With the opportunity to see the teams, cars and drivers up close ahead of the action, the experience offered a fascinating insight into the precision, coordination and performance that define the sport.
By combining Flexjet’s signature service with exclusive access to the world of Formula 1 at the iconic home of British motorsport, the event gave our top-tier media guests an immersive introduction to the new partnership, demonstrating how it will create exceptional experiences for Flexjet Owners at races around the world.
After an action-packed afternoon at Silverstone, guests returned to London via the Sikorsky S-76, bringing the day to a suitably seamless conclusion.
