To position The Pig Hotels within the UK market as the leading restaurants with rooms, where everything is driven by the gardener and chef from each Kitchen Garden. In particular, The PC Agency was called upon to build strong media coverage promoting The Pig Hotels as pioneering the rustic laid-back country hotel offering with food and their 25 mile menu is at the forefront.

The Pig Road Trip Concept – The PC Agency invited a top editor to tour the four Pig Hotels to coincide with the election, creating a very positive and reason for readers to be proud to be British. This resulted in readers replicating the trip to experience the very best of what Britain has to offer.

Foraging by Kayak – The PC Agency re-imagined the exhausted foraging trend by introducing The Pig on the Beach’s Foraging by Kayak. It hosted a top journalist to experience this, handpick ingredients by boat and then have the highly capable chefs cook them up for them.

Famous Five for Adults – The PC Agency aligned The Pig on the Beach with Enid Blyton’s Famous Five for Adults book collection. The PC Agency ensured it is the first hotel to be associated with this very ‘on trend’ and topical book collection, to correspond with 75th anniversary of Enid Blyton.

Profile Opportunities –The PC Agency explored and secured strong profile opportunities for Robin Hutson including Forbes, Telegraph, Evening Standard, Times Luxx, TTG Luxury to name a few.

Broadsheet Exclusives –The PC Agency secured The Pig Hotels with broadsheet exclusives in top publications including Sunday Times and Conde Nast Traveller.

The Results

To date we have secured over 250 press trips and secure on average aminimum of 30 print pieces and 15 online pieces a month. The Pig Hotels now have an occupancy rate of 90% throughout the year with The Pig on The Beach boasting a 100% occupancy rate all year round.
