The prestigious list of Hoteliers Top 100 Hotels 2017 was announced this week featuring not one but five hotels by hotelier Robin Hutson, with Lime Wood being positioned in the top three.
Compiled by the UK’s leading hoteliers and verified by hotel experts including the Telegraph’s Fiona Duncan and consultant Giovanna Grossi this list truly recognises the hotels leading the industry.
Lime Wood hotel gained three places to be named third best UK hotel below the historical properties of Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and Chewton Glen, as well as receiving the accolade of second best Countryside Hotel.
Meanwhile, four of The PIG hotels, known for their relaxed style and 25-mile menus were in the top 100. The PIG-on the beach came in at number nine, The PIG-at Combe was number 40, The PIG-near Bath was number 70 and The PIG, the first member of the litter, came in at number 72.
Chairman Robin Hutson said, “We are delighted by this result and happy that experienced people within the industry recognise The Pigs and Lime Wood so highly. The success of the hotels comes from energetic and passionate teams within each property. The staff enthusiasm is felt by the guests and they are, as ever, our number one priority.”
