La Sultana Oualidia, a 12-suite oasis situated on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, will launch The O Bar, a unique oyster bar mid-June. The O Bar will be located at the end of the mesmerising pier overlooking an open lagoon and extending onto the Atlantic coast. The O Bar will offer both local and international oysters and Moroccan wine pairings.

Enjoy locally grown oysters from Oualidia’s unique lagoon offering a delicate and balanced taste, including the house speciality, the Pied de Cheval Oyster. Also known as the horse’s hoof oyster, they are grown in Dakhla’s lagoon in the south of Morocco before a final maturation in Oualidia’s lagoon.

For an international flavour, try the Crassostrea Gigas Oyster, also known as the Pacific Oyster. This oyster is native to the Pacific coast of Asia and has since been introduced in Europe and Morocco.

The O Bar will also offer the La Sultana Flight menu for those who just want a brief taste. Enjoy three different oysters, matched with Moroccan wines that bring out the flavours of the oysters.

Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, La Sultana Oualidia is one of the most sought after retreats in Morocco. Playing host to VIPs and Hollywood Stars over the years, the hotel offers a slow pace and peaceful environment, acting as the ultimate getaway destination.

Each of the 12 rooms and suites make the most of the stunning views and incredible light. Each room has been individually designed with large bathrooms, private terraces with water features and a sea-water jacuzzi fed by the lagoon. The interiors have been designed using natural materials from the surrounding areas, showcasing the local craftsmanship in a contemporary and chic style, giving each room a luxurious and elegant feel.

La Sultana Oualidia has what’s regarded as the most beautiful infinity pool on the Moroccan Mediterranean coast. Its unparalleled position overlooks the 11km long lagoon.

Rooms at La Sultana Oualidia cost from 3,300 MAD / £238 per night based on two people sharing.
