Set in the peaceful village of Kingham, the Cotswold Cottages are the most recent addition to The Wild Rabbit, and the first self-catered accommodation offered by the much loved inn. Relaxed and welcoming, the cottages combine pared down rustic style with home comforts: comfortable mattresses, pure cotton sheets and stylish, simple bathrooms.
Designed as a home-away-from-home, each cottage has two double or twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a fully (Daylesford) equipped kitchen and eating area, sitting rooms with open fires and a private garden. With the capacity to be rented individually or as one interconnecting space, the cottages are ideal for a large family or a group of friends.
Separate from The Wild Rabbit but still within easy reach, guests at the Cotswold Cottages have easy access to the pub and restaurant for delicious locally sourced food. Highlights of Tim Allen’s menu include a starter, Daylesford market garden, locally grown vegetables prepared several ways with truffle goats curd, grain mustard, honey and ice lettuce or for main, Wootton Estate Pheasant, crispy leg pastilla, Brussel sprouts, and lardo preserved elderberries. Lighter dishes from the bar menu can be ordered from the daily changing blackboards.
The traditional pub bar offers an eclectic mix of reasonably priced beers from artisan breweries alongside some more familiar names. In the summer months, enjoy refreshing cocktails or a glass of rosé under the shade of big white umbrellas on the terrace.
With easy access to The Bamford Haybarn for treatments, whether a manicure massage or facial, a stay in The Wild Rabbit’s Cotswold Cottages will give you the ability to unwind and enjoy the finer things in life.
Prices are from £225 per night (minimum two night stay). Both cottages are self-catering, but guests are welcome to have breakfast at The Wild Rabbit for an additional £15 per person. Prices in the restaurant begin from £12.00 for starters and main courses from £20.00.
