The PC Agency launches and announces purchase of admired travel consultancy Angel Publicity

The PC Agency, newly formed by award-winning former BBC journalist, Eurostar and Virgin Atlantic Communications Director Paul Charles, has bought Angel Publicity, one of the most admired companies representing top-end hotels, tour operators, villa specialists, restaurants and spas in the UK and internationally.
The combined new company aspires to be the ‘go-to’ consultancy in the travel and lifestyle sector representing airlines, hotels, tour operators, tourism boards, spas, cruiselines and restaurants. Respected clients include The Pig Hotels, Lime Wood, Portetta, COMO Hotels and Resorts, Le Sirenuse, La Sultana Hotels, The Arts Club, Hartnett Holder & Co, The Wild Rabbit, Bamford Haybarn, Tourism New Zealand, Tourism Ireland, Aer Lingus, Finnair, Visit Finland, Silversea, Monaco Tourism, Peligoni Club, Kamp Collection Hotels, Oliver’s Travels, ITC Hotels, Lower Mill Estate and Blue Chip Holidays.
The PC Agency will offer deep knowledge of the travel and lifestyle sectors based on years of expertise from its team in the airline, hotels, cruiseline and tourism board areas. The consultancy offers core consumer and corporate public relations, business development and branding advice, as well as crisis communications and social media/website services.

The senior team at The PC Agency includes Associate Director Philip Allport, formerly a Media Relations Manager at British Airways, and Account Directors Sarah Potter, Charlie Dyer and Sarah Puddle. The team of 21 people is based in London’s Notting Hill.
Paul Charles created The PC Agency after co-founding his previous agency, PCC, and before that was COO of LEWIS PR; Communications Director for Sir Richard Branson at Virgin Atlantic, and held the same role at Eurostar. Before that Paul worked as a radio and TV presenter at BBC News, where Paul reported for programmes globally, including BBC Radio 4’s Financial World Tonight, Today, Money Box, Inside Money and BBC World Service World Business Report.
Paul has won several awards for his PR and crisis communications work, including being named PR Week PR Professional of the Year and in the Evening Standard’s Most Influential Londoners list.
Emma created Angel Publicity in 2011, having previously worked in a freelance capacity for Western & Oriental Travel. Prior to that Emma was at Ann Scott Associates where she handled the publicity for Mandarin Oriental London, Oberoi Hotels and Greaves Travel. After graduating Emma spent two years in the publicity department of Berry Bros & Rudd.
