Andrew Dunn, the founder and lifetime President of luxury tour operator Scott Dunn, is joining The PC Agency as non-executive Chairman. He will also be taking a stake in the company for an undisclosed sum.

The PC Agency was founded by Sir Richard Branson’s former Communications Director, Paul Charles, and focuses on elevating travel brands around the world. With a team of 23, it represents leading airlines, hotels, tourism boards, tour operators, cruiselines and property providers, and advises senior influencers in the travel and leisure sectors.

The PC Agency acquired hotel PR specialist, Angel Publicity, in August 2016 with its founder, Emma Cripwell, becoming Managing Director of The PC Agency as part of the integration.

Andrew Dunn said: “I have seen Paul build a great team in a company with an impressive list of clients – in my experience great clients choose to work with the finest in their sector. There is a clear vision ahead for The PC Agency and I look forward to helping it grow its influence further.”

Paul Charles commented: “I’m flattered and humbled that Andrew has chosen to invest in The PC Agency and become non-executive Chairman. There is a wide range of companies that he could have chosen to invest in. Andrew has considerable business flair and built one of the most successful and admired tour operators in the travel industry. His business and travel knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to grow in the months and years ahead.”

Other recent changes at The PC Agency include the promotion of Sarah Potter to Associate Director; Amelia Bird to Account Director and the appointment of Leanne Gosford from agency Hills Balfour as Senior Account Manager.

The PC Agency’s clients include Lime Wood, The Pig hotels, Red Savannah, Tourism Ireland, Tourism New Zealand, Visit Finland, Finnair, Aer Lingus, ITC Hotels, Silversea and Butterfield & Robinson.
