HELENA BAY - NEW LUXURY LODGE IN THE NORTHLAND REGION
New Zealand will add another luxury lodge to its collection with the launch of Helena Bay in Russell in November. Being New Zealand’s first luxury lodge located right on the beach, Helena Bay is just 40-km north of Whangarei and a 45-minute helicopter ride from Auckland. Set on 800 acres, Helena Bay will include two and three bedroom villas, overlooking three kilometres of pristine coastline. The main lodge will house a Turkish Hammam, plunge pool, gym, sauna, luxury spa, a 25-metre heated pool, a library, three lounge areas, a restaurant, an outdoor fire pit and three private beaches for guests' exclusive use.

NEW WAIHEKE ISLAND COASTAL SEA KAYAK TOUR
Launching in November, Auckland Sea Kayaks will be offering visitors the chance to paddle around Waiheke Island with its newest Waiheke Island Coastal Sea Kayak Tour. The new tour leaves from Matiatia Bay, exploring the stunning coastline and diverse landscapes, as visitors paddle to Owhanake Bay for the first stop. The second leg of the tour explores the more exposed and remote northern point, before rounding the headland to finish in the spectacular Oneroa Bay.

NEW MILFORD SOUND OVERNIGHT CRUISE
Fiordland Discovery have launched an overnight cruise, giving guests the chance to see the natural wonders of Milford Sound at dawn, dusk and under the starts on their newest luxury overnight boat, Fiordland Jewel. The new cruise will launch in November and features an onboard helipad, on-deck hot-tub, kayaks, fishing, submarine drone, and Michelin Star cuisine. 2017 will see the launch of a new level of extreme thrills. AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand, the world’s first commercial bungy jump operator, has announced that a new extreme experience is under development in Queenstown. The ‘Nevis Thriller’ will be located at the site of the Nevis Bungy and Nevis Swing, near Queenstown. The new experience will combine height, speed and flight and push adventurers to new limits.

PASTURE, A NEW FORAGING RESTAURANT IN AUCKLAND
Auckland’s newest restaurant, Pasture, launched in September, is taking visitors on a walk on the wide side with foraging couple, Ed and Laura Verner. THE GRILLE BY EICHARDT’S - NEW TOP-END DINING EXPERIENCE
The countdown is on for Queenstown's latest top-end dining experience. The Grille by Eichardt's is set to open in October in prime position on the Queenstown waterfront with seating for 140 people. Executive Chef Will Eaglesfield has been hard at work preparing the menus and planning every detail ahead of the launch.
