Yesterday, 3rd October, Qatar Airways was awarded Best Business Class and Best Middle Eastern Airline at the 2016 Business Traveller Awards held in London at the Royal Garden Hotel. The awards were received ahead of the launch of the airlines’ newest aircraft, the Airbus A350 XWB, on the London to Doha route from 30th October.
The airline’s renowned high quality service was once again recognised as the airline received the two prestigious awards, presented by British author and broadcaster Ben Fogle, to Qatar Airways Country Manager UK & Ireland, Morena Bronzetti.
The Business Traveller Awards are voted for by readers of the magazine, with the results authenticated by an independent auditing company, and are widely recognised as the market’s benchmark for excellence. A fixture of the business travel and hospitality calendar for more than 30 years, this year’s hotly contested awards were attended by more than 300 industry leaders.

The oneworld airline alliance, of which Qatar Airways has been a member since 2013, won Best Airline Alliance.
Qatar Airways recently accepted three separate accolades at the 2016 Skytrax World Airline Awards held at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom. Air travellers chose Qatar Airways as the World's Best Business Class, Best Business Class Airline Lounge and the Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East. The consumer-voted awards recognised the airline for its commitment to offering passengers an unrivalled travelling experience.

Helsinki (Finland), Krabi (Thailand) and Seychelles will follow later in the year.
Qatar Airways operates seven flights a day between London Heathrow and Hamad International Airport, Doha, providing convenient connections to the airlines’ global network.
