London Gatwick welcomed the touchdown of the first direct flight between Rwanda and the UK on Friday 26th May with a spectacular water arch as the aircraft taxied to the gate at the airport’s North Terminal.

Finnair has announced that it will start flying non-stop from the UK to Kittilä, in Lapland, in addition to the previously announced new service to Ivalo. The new direct service will link London Gatwick and Kittilä once a week from 12th December 2017 until the end of 20th March 2018.
