Jávri Lodge, Scandinavia’s most luxurious boutique hotel was built by Finland’s long-serving President, Urho Kekkonen. A venue for President Kekkonen’s personal and private life, the Lodge welcomed politicians and other visitors who came to experience the best hospitality Lapland could offer under the guidance of the President. Today, the legacy continues at Jávri Lodge, which has 13 rooms accommodating 26 guests.
Built in traditional Lappish style, the log cabin is a relaxing and tranquil sanctuary. Located in the wilderness of Lapland with vast lakes and forests, guests can experience the darkness and Northern Lights, and in contrast, the never-setting sun as summer replaces winter. Jávri Lodge offers the same personalised service and spirit as in its Presidential beginnings.
